The North Texas Model Yacht Club (NTMYC), formerly The Les Lacs Yacht Club Addison (LLYCA) is the home of model yacht sailing from McKinney to Dallas. LLYCA was formed in 1998 and became the NTMYC January, 2010 for the purpose of promoting remote controlled sailing in the North Texas area. Our members have a wide range of sailing experience — from beginning sailors to experienced sailors of full-sized yachts and/or model yachts. NTMYC is a club for all levels of experience who currently sail the Victoria, Seawind, and ODOM. 

When you become a member you will have access to all parts of the group. Come and watch us sail at one of our sailing venues. If you have a Remote-Controlled sailing yacht, bring it out and sail with us. We have no race, age or gender requirements.

The North Texas Model Yacht Club generally sails at one of five lakes but, you can usually find us most Saturday's or Sunday's at Rymer Lake in Dallas or McKinney Towne Lake and once in a while in Mesquite or Frisco.
